First Group has handed over the Kazma Sports Club games complex to Kuwait’s Public Authority for Sport three months ahead of schedule, at a total cost of KD 6 million, reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering government sports projects with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

First Group Delivers Kazma Sports Games Complex Ahead of Schedule

The Public Authority for Sport has officially received the games complex project at Kazma Sports Club, constructed and maintained by First Group for General Trading & Contracting. The project was delivered three months ahead of its scheduled completion date, at a total cost of KD 6 million, marking a notable achievement that reflects the company’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and efficiency in executing government sports projects.

Engineer Rania Al-Matbouli, Director of Public Projects Implementation and Supervision at the Authority: noted that the complex stands out among the Authority’s distinguished projects, having been executed according to the highest international technical standards. She added that the design was tailored to meet the specific needs of Kazma Sports Club, its playing fields, and its tournament hosting requirements.

The complex houses nine halls dedicated to a variety of sports, including football, handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, squash, gymnastics, and athletics, with a design optimized to make the most efficient use of available space across a total area of 550,000 square feet.

Early Delivery with High Quality Standards

Engineer emeel Abdullah, General Manager of First Group for General Trading & Contracting : confirmed that the company successfully delivered the project three months ahead of the agreed schedule. He emphasized that close coordination with the Authority and the club throughout all phases of execution was key to accelerating delivery while maintaining the highest technical specifications.

Engineer emeel Abdullah : added that the project was originally scheduled for completion by the end of September 2022, with construction taking 850 days from start to finish. He confirmed the project’s total built-up area at 550,000 square feet and its total cost at KD 6 million.
