Project Overview
First Group delivered VIP Halls – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sharq for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharq, Kuwait City. The works form part of First Group's service buildings portfolio and comprise vIP halls nos. 01, 02, 03 and 04 – ground floor, first floor and roof. First Group's scope of work covered excavation works, shoring and earth retention works, reinforced concrete works, masonry and blockwork, metal works, thermal and moisture protection, architectural works, internal and external finishing works and renovation works, executed under a construction, completion and maintenance contract. The contract period for the works was 12 months. The project was completed and handed over in April 2017.
Project Scope
Construction, completion and maintenance works comprising excavation works, shoring and earth retention works, reinforced concrete works, masonry and blockwork, metal works, thermal and moisture protection, architectural works, internal and external finishing works and renovation works.
Outcome
A fully finished public service building handed over to the client ministry and ready for operational use.
